Enjoy the wondrous landscape by cross-country skiing in Walchsee and Kössen and make your own trail through the total 244 km network of cross-country slopes, 128 km of which are tracked for the classic style and 116 km of which are tracked for the athletic skating variant. The network of slopes connects Walchsee, Kössen, Schwendt and Rettenschöß in the Kaiserwinkl.

When it comes to tobogganing in the Kaiserwinkl region there are several options available for you to fly down into the valley on two skids. The nearby toboggan run leads to the Ottenalm and can be reached in about 45 minutes. The 3 km long “Zahmer Kaiser” toboggan run guarantees a great time tobogganing for the whole family and also offers the comfortable option of riding back to the starting point with the chairlift.
